Scholarships

The Cultural Commission offers scholarship awards to students continuing their studies in any discipline of the arts. Scholarships may be used for any school related expense. 

Currently there are three awards given at Danbury High School (DHS) , The Benjamin DaSilva Art award, The Millie Siegel Music award, and The Dance/Theater award. At the Alternative Center for Excellence (ACE) there is one Art Award, and at Henry Abbott Technical (HAT) there is also One Art Award. 

Students have been selected by the faculty at each school. They work with the students regularly and can identify those most in need of support. Each school submits names and required supporting documents to the Commission office.
